With certifications from the Cafetonato academy in Santa Marta, he is one step away from earning his SCA intermediate barista degree, mastering cupping and more. 4. Known affectionately as “Manzanita,” she began her coffee adventure by making classic mistakes, such as over-grinding beans and creating unconventional espresso extractions. Each mistake became an opportunity to perfect her technique. Her path to success was facilitated by Juan Diego, a key mentor who guided her from the basics to barista mastery, turning each mistake into an invaluable lesson. Manzanita” loves to reveal the subtleties of each cup. Her enthusiasm for coffee is reflected in each preparation, highlighting her dedication and joy. 4. In addition to her passion for coffee, she enjoys exploring new preparation methods and sharing moments with friends. Her nickname captures her joyful spirit and love for life. 5. With certifications in introductory coffee and basic cupping, she is on her way to earning her SCA intermediate barista certification. His fascination for specialty coffee led him to master latte art and filtered methods, leaving behind the common “red” coffee. 3. He stood out in the National Barista Tournament 2022 and obtained third place in the Barista Vs Barista Reto Arte Latte. 4. Lover of guitar, motorcycles, snorkeling and scuba diving, he also immerses himself in scientific reading. 5. Aspires to open his own business in the coffee industry, while continuing to share his love for the beverage with his community.
